To receive extra credit towards your first semester grade you must follow these guidelines.
Write two different story problems, one that uses what you learned in Chapter 2 and the other from a topic in Chapter 3.
Each story problem must be at least 6 sentences and must include a drawing to go with it and then a step by step solution to the problem. Each step must include the algebraic properties you used in solving (such as the multiplicative identity property). We learned most of those in Chapter 1.
It is due on Tuesday, December 6. I will review both problems. You are then to present one of your word problems to the class during the week of December 12.
Please let me know if you have any questions. No work will be accepted after December 6, 2016.
